Auto Car Finder Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how Auto Car Finder handles cancellations, refunds, credits, and billing issues for paid listings, featured ads, boosts, dealer subscriptions, advertising products, and related paid services.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to paid services purchased from Auto Car Finder, including listing products, promoted listings, featured placements, dealer subscriptions, advertising products, and related platform upgrades.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and any product-specific or dealer-specific agreement that may apply.
2. Paid services covered
This Policy may apply to services such as:
- paid vehicle listings;
- featured ads or promoted placements;
- boosts or premium visibility products;
- dealer packages or subscriptions;
- display advertising or sponsored placements;
- other paid marketplace or advertising tools offered by Auto Car Finder.
3. General refund rule
As a general rule, fees paid to Auto Car Finder are non-refundable once the relevant paid service has been activated, delivered, published, scheduled, or otherwise made available to you.
4. Cancellations before activation
If you request cancellation before a paid service has been activated or delivered, we may consider a cancellation and refund request, subject to verification and any processing costs already incurred.
Approval of such requests is at Auto Car Finder’s discretion, unless a refund is required by applicable law.
5. Cancellations after activation
Once a paid product has been activated, published, promoted, or used, cancellation will usually stop future service only and will not entitle the customer to a refund for the elapsed or used portion of the service.
Where a recurring service is cancelled, the cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current billing or service period, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Dealer packages and subscriptions
Dealer subscriptions, package fees, and recurring service fees are generally billed according to the applicable dealer agreement, plan, or package terms.
- Cancellation may stop renewal of the next billing period.
- Amounts already billed for the current period are generally non-refundable.
- Unused package capacity or unused listing slots do not automatically create a refund right.
7. Featured listings and boosts
Featured listings, promoted placements, spotlight products, and boosts are time-based or visibility-based products. Once the promotional period starts, refunds are generally not available.
If Auto Car Finder is unable to deliver the purchased visibility product because of a system issue caused solely by us, we may, at our discretion, offer a replacement run, account credit, extension, or refund.
8. Duplicate, rejected, or removed listings
If a listing is flagged, rejected, limited, or removed because it breaches our Terms, listing rules, moderation standards, duplicate listing rules, or fraud-prevention measures, a refund will not usually be provided.
Where a listing is affected due to an error caused solely by Auto Car Finder and not by the user’s conduct, we may consider a replacement listing, extension, credit, or refund where appropriate.
9. Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged twice, or billed for a service you did not authorise, you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible with enough detail for us to investigate.
- We may request proof of payment, invoices, transaction references, or account details.
- If we confirm a billing error, we may issue a correction, refund, or account credit.
- If the charge was valid, the original charge will remain due and payable.
10. Refund method and timing
Where a refund is approved, we will normally process it back through the original payment method where reasonably possible. In some cases, we may instead issue an account credit, replacement product, or service extension.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, banking system, card issuer, or other third party involved.
11. Chargebacks and disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the matter, we may suspend or restrict the affected account, listings, dealer tools, or related services while the dispute is being investigated.
We reserve the right to challenge invalid chargebacks and to provide relevant transaction records, account activity, or service-delivery evidence to payment processors or banks.
12. Changes to this Policy
Auto Car Finder may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website with the updated date shown above.
