Auto Car Finder Dealer Terms & Advertising Terms
These Dealer Terms and Advertising Terms apply to dealerships, dealer groups, fleet sellers, and business users who advertise vehicles, buy paid products, receive leads, or use dealer tools on Auto Car Finder.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to all dealers, dealer groups, commercial sellers, fleet sellers, and other business users that use Auto Car Finder to advertise vehicles, receive leads, manage listings, buy featured products, or access dealer tools.
These Terms must be read together with our general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any separate package, subscription, campaign, or commercial agreement that may apply.
2. Dealer eligibility
By using Auto Car Finder as a dealer or business advertiser, you confirm that you are duly authorised to act on behalf of the dealership, company, or business you represent.
- You must provide accurate business and contact information.
- You must keep dealership profile details up to date.
- You must have the lawful right to advertise each listed vehicle.
3. Accounts and access
Dealer accounts may include multiple users, dealership profiles, listing tools, paid advertising products, and related account permissions. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account or dealership account.
Auto Car Finder may suspend access, reset credentials, or require additional verification where account misuse, suspicious activity, or security concerns arise.
4. Listings and advert standards
Dealers must ensure that all listings and advertising content are accurate, lawful, and current. In particular:
- vehicle specifications, price, mileage, year, and condition must not be misleading;
- photos must represent the actual vehicle unless clearly marked otherwise;
- stock must be genuinely available unless expressly stated;
- material omissions, hidden defects, or deceptive pricing practices are not permitted;
- dealers must comply with applicable consumer, advertising, and vehicle-related laws.
5. Duplicate listings
Dealers may not create duplicate, cloned, or substantially repeated listings intended to manipulate search results, increase visibility unfairly, or advertise the same vehicle multiple times without proper justification.
Auto Car Finder may use automated and manual systems to detect possible duplicates, including checks based on VIN-related data, images, stock details, listing text, pricing, and related vehicle information.
We may flag, hold, limit, or remove duplicate listings and may request clarification or documents before allowing publication or continued display.
6. Paid products and packages
Auto Car Finder may offer dealer packages, subscriptions, featured products, premium placement, boosts, lead products, and other advertising services.
- Package inclusions, duration, pricing, and limits will be determined by the selected plan or separate agreement.
- Unused features or unfilled listing slots do not automatically create a credit or refund right.
- Promoted positions, featured placements, and visibility products remain subject to platform availability and moderation standards.
7. Billing and payment
Dealers are responsible for paying all agreed fees on time. Fees may be billed once-off, monthly, on subscription, or according to a custom commercial agreement.
- Late or failed payment may result in suspension of paid features or account restrictions.
- Auto Car Finder may revise pricing, package structures, or billing models from time to time.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any separate commercial agreement.
8. Leads and enquiries
Auto Car Finder may generate or route vehicle enquiries, leads, contact requests, and other user interactions to dealers through forms, phone links, WhatsApp tools, email routing, or other lead mechanisms.
While we aim to provide a functional lead platform, we do not guarantee any specific volume, quality, conversion rate, or sales outcome from dealer advertising.
9. Dealer content and branding
Dealers remain responsible for all text, logos, photos, videos, dealership profile content, promotions, and other content uploaded to the platform.
By providing such content, you confirm that you have the right to use it and grant Auto Car Finder a non-exclusive licence to host, display, publish, distribute, and use it for platform operation, moderation, and promotion.
10. Prohibited conduct
Dealers may not:
- publish false, deceptive, or unavailable stock;
- use fake pricing, bait advertising, or hidden costs in a misleading way;
- submit duplicate, cloned, or spam listings;
- scrape, copy, or reproduce another dealer’s listings or content without permission;
- interfere with platform security, lead systems, moderation systems, or ranking mechanisms;
- use abusive, unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
11. Moderation and enforcement
Auto Car Finder may moderate listings, dealership content, profile information, and related activity to protect platform quality, user trust, and legal compliance.
We may, at our discretion:
- request supporting documents or clarification;
- hold listings for review;
- limit visibility of certain stock;
- remove or reject listings;
- suspend specific products, dealership pages, or account access.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate dealer access or products where there is non-payment, fraud risk, repeated policy breaches, abuse of the platform, unlawful conduct, or any other material breach of applicable terms.
Suspension or termination does not remove the dealer’s responsibility to settle any valid outstanding fees already due.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auto Car Finder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of sales, loss of leads, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from dealer use of the platform or advertising services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid by the dealer to Auto Car Finder for the relevant service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by law.
14. Indemnity
Dealers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auto Car Finder, its directors, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from any claim, loss, cost, or liability arising from the dealer’s listings, advertising content, account use, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
Auto Car Finder may amend these Dealer Terms and Advertising Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published on the website and may take effect immediately or from a stated future date.
Continued use of dealer tools, paid products, or dealership advertising after an update will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
